Telkom University Gelar Pelantikan Rektor Periode 2025-2030

Bandung, 28 Februari 2025 – Telkom University (Tel-U) sebagai perguruan tinggi terbaik di Indonesia secara resmi menggelar Pelantikan dan Serah Terima Jabatan Rektor Periode 2025–2030. Kegiatan ini mengusung tema “Future Rector” dan diselenggarakan di Gedung Bangkit (Rektorat) pada Jumat, 28 Februari 2025. Acara ini melibatkan berbagai pihak, termasuk Senat Akademik, Yayasan Pendidikan Telkom, serta perwakilan civitas akademika.

Proses pemilihan ini berlangsung sejak Januari 2025, dengan rincian tahap sebagai berikut:

• 31 Januari: Kick off pemilihan Rektor Telkom University Periode 2025-2030.
• 7 Februari: Penjaringan & verifikasi Bakal Calon Rektor, Progress validasi Bakal Calon Rektor, Sosialisasi Pemilihan Rektor kepada Bakal Calon Rektor & Civitas Akademika.
• 15 Februari: Sosialisasi parameter penilaian ke Bakal Calon Rektor, Sosialisasi panduan Public Hearing.
• 19 Februari: Pengumpulan Persyaratan, Penayangan Video Prestasi Bakal Calon Rektor.
• 20-21 Februari: Public Hearing dengan Senat diperluas (Hybrid), Penilaian oleh Senat diperluas.
• 25 Februari: Pelaporan hasil Pemilihan Rektor kepada Yayasan.
• 28 Februari: Pelantikan dan Serah Terima Jabatan Periode 2025-2030.

Dari serangkaian proses pemilihan Rektor Telkom University, hasil pemilihan menetapkan bahwa Prof. Dr. Suyanto, S.T., M.Sc. terpilih sebagai Rektor Telkom University Periode 2025-2030. Adapun visi dan misi Rektor terpilih, Prof. Dr. Suyanto, S.T., M.Sc. adalah sebagai berikut:

Visi:

1. Menjadi National Excellence Entrepreneurial University berbasis Al pada tahun 2028, yang berkontribusi pada pemenuhan tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan.

Misi:

1. Menyelenggarakan dan mengembangkan pendidikan berbasis Al, berkelas dunia, dan berwawasan kewirausahaan.
2. ⁠Mengakselerasi tranformasi digital berbasis Al dalam mengembangkan dan menyebarluaskan pengetahuan baru dan produk intelektual di bidang teknologi, sains, dan seni yang berkontribusi pada pemenuhan tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan.
3. ⁠Berkolaborasi dengan industri dan pemangku kepentingan lain dalam pengembangan inovasi berbasis Al yang berkontribusi pada pertumbuhan ekonomi bangsa.

Dengan terpilihnya Rektor Telkom University Periode 2025-2030, seluruh civitas akademika Telkom University berharap dapat mewujudkan visi dan misinya selama periode kepemimpinan. Selain itu, kepemimpinan yang baru diharapkan dapat membawa dampak serta perubahan positif, meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, menghasilkan lulusan yang bermanfaat bagi bangsa, serta menjadikan institusi ini mampu bersaing secara global.

Bandung, February 28, 2025 – Telkom University (Tel-U) as the best university in Indonesia officially held the Inauguration and Handover of Rector Position Period 2025-2030. This activity carries the theme “Future Rector” and was held at Bangkit Building (Rectorate) on Friday, February 28, 2025. The event involved various parties, including the Academic Senate, Telkom Education Foundation, and representatives of the academic community.

The election process has been going on since January 2025, with the following stages:

• January 31: Kick off the election of Telkom University Rector Period 2025-2030.
• February 7: Networking & verification of Rector Candidates, Progress validation of Rector Candidates, Socialization of Rector Elections to Rector Candidates & Academic Community.
• February 15: Socialization of assessment parameters to Rector Candidates, Socialization of Public Hearing guidelines.
• February 19: Collection of Requirements, Video Viewing of Achievements of Candidates for Rector
• February 20-21: Public Hearing with the Senate expanded (Hybrid), Assessment by the Senate expanded.
• February 25: Reporting the results of the Rector Election to the Foundation
• February 28th: Inauguration and Handover of Office Period 2025-2030

From a series of Telkom University Rector election processes, the election results determined that Prof. Dr. Suyanto, S.T., M.Sc. was elected as Rector of Telkom University for the 2025-2030 Period.The vision and mission of the elected Rector, Prof. Dr. Suyanto, S.T., M.Sc. are as follows:

Vision:

1. To become an Al-based National Excellence Entrepreneurial University in 2028, which contributes to the fulfillment of sustainable development goals.

Mission:

1. Organizing and developing Al-based, world-class, and entrepreneurial-minded education.
2. Accelerating Al-based digital transformation in developing and disseminating new knowledge and intellectual products in the fields of technology, science, and art that contribute to the fulfillment of sustainable development goals.
3. Collaborate with industry and other stakeholders in the development of Al-based innovations that contribute to the nation’s economic growth.

With the election of the Rector of Telkom University for the 2025-2030 Period, the entire Telkom University academic community hopes to realize its vision and mission during the leadership period.In addition, the new leadership is expected to bring positive impacts and changes, improve the quality of education, produce graduates who benefit the nation, and make this institution able to compete globally.
